Hello everyone, I'd posted some marbles pics awhile back that were sent to me from a gentleman in England. He has sent me these pictures as well, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Joe.

I believe all those are European(probably German with many found in England).

I bought some like those from Wales recently ... many look like the first group, and some like the blues. They look like sparklers, but some have only a few colors, and some have many. Many of the multicolor have some ox-blood looking strands standing off by themselves ... I like em, but I too was wondering if anyone could tell me where they were made, and when.

We call them German sparklers but I don't know if they actually come from there.

Nice Marbles.

Here's some more all found in England, Joe's type on the left, German sparklers on the right

Would be very interested to know if there is a name for the ones on the left.

The name "Wisplers" has been applied to them for a couple of years now for us collectors who see lots of them around. If the name takes off one day they may come into there own. Much better than calling them "German Sparklers" because they are not the same at all. They also come in opaque styles. Not sure if those ones are just overfilled regular ones, but they are out there. My Mum finds 2-3 lots of marbles a week in the UK, and aside from Catseyes and Imperials these show up more often that most others. Pretty common. There are some real beauts out there but they tend to be few and far between.
